Workshop
Co.

Workshop
This workshop is based on what Etienne Decroux called "the body of a gymnast, mind of an actor and heart of a poet".  We will focus on aspects of movement for the actor, the sociology/meaning of body language and the creating of original material.  Special attention will be given to what I call;
"the Three Rhythms"
  1. Speed, or musicality (what we generally consider to be rhythm, the juxtaposition of fast, slow and stationary),
  2. Architectural rhythm (dealing with shape, seen in the body language, as well as shape of movement) and
  3. Dynamic rhythm (dealing with resistance or lack there of, be it physical, political or social).
